Where will I stay?

There are different types of accommodation available to you as a Nelson Mandela University student.

On-campus

The university provides comfortable on-campus accommodation options. These include the residences on the Summerstrand, Second Avenue and George campuses and the Student Village in Summerstrand, which consists of self-catering units. As accommodation is limited, early application is essential.

Off-campus accommodation

Some students prefer living off campus. Off-campus accommodation options include renting flats and houses or boarding at nearby private residences. The Student Housing office offers a service to assist students in finding suitable off-campus accommodation.
