During the Exams: Performing at Your Best
1. Read the Instructions Carefully:
Before you start writing, take a moment to read all the instructions. Understand what is being asked in each question and how many marks are allocated. This will help you manage your time effectively.
2. Plan Your Time:
Allocate time for each section or question based on the marks available. Don't spend too long on one question if it means you won't have time for others. If you get stuck, move on and come back to it later.
3. Read and Answer the Question Asked:
Make sure your answers directly address what the question is asking. Avoid writing everything you know about a topic if it's not relevant to the specific question.
4. Show Your Working (Where Applicable):
Especially in subjects like Maths, Life Sciences and Science, showing your steps can earn you marks even if your final answer is incorrect.
5. Review Your Answers:
If you have time at the end, quickly reread your answers to check for any errors in spelling, grammar, or calculations, as well as to ensure that you have not missed any questions or left sections incomplete.

After the Exams: Learning and Moving Forward
1. Don't Dwell on Mistakes:
Once an exam is done, try not to obsess over what you think you might have answered wrongly. Focus your energy on preparing for your next exam.
2. Reflect on Your Performance:
After all the exams are finished, take some time to think about how you prepared and how you felt during your exams. What worked well? What could you do differently next time? This reflection is valuable for future exams.
3. Celebrate Your Effort:
You put in the work! Take some time to relax and celebrate your effort, regardless of the outcome. You showed up and did your best.
